Who we are: Maroccaine is a premium catering and hospitality services provider. Our chefs specialize in the preparation and packaging of various Asian, Continental, African and Snack menus, integrating first-class services and tasty dishes into a special experience for our patrons. Since its inception, the group has continually evolved to meet the desires of our vast and committed clientele, expanding to the providing specialized catering services to corporate and individual clients.

Our CEO: Mr. Haydar Issa is a veteran hospitality service provider with almost two decades of experience in the hospitality and food services industry in Nigeria, France and Lebanon. He spent over 16 years working as part of the team that built the prestigious Lagoon restaurant in Lagos, and is known for his record-breaking achievements as a pastry chef.

Following his time with Lagoon, Haydar started Maroccaine Restaurants in Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, where they quickly became known for their Shawarma. He later moved the restaurant to Idowu Taylor Street in Victoria Island, and finally to Muri Okunola Street where the restaurant has grown tremendously.

Haydar continues to carry the day to day operations of the business with a passion for excellent service and people-centric focus that have become his trademark.
